“Can you pass the salt water,” was what patrons at the Moby Dick Restaurant at Stearns Wharf in Santa Barbara, Calif. were saying on Saturday morning when a giant wave smashed into the eatery. The seaside restaurant suffered some damage as ocean water destroyed windows and poured into the building. In the video you can hear the roar of the wave bearing down on the wharf when suddenly the glass shattered and customers began screaming. One observant diner said it best, “Time to go.”
