I haven’t seen Willie Nelson since Beerfest, but he’s looking pretty good for a guy turning 80 tomorrow. He’s clearly still high though be he sent his audition tape for Gandalf in The Hobbit 2 to Conan O’Brien instead of Peter Jackson. Unfortunately, the Red Headed Stranger is lacking the intimidation factor needed to play the world’s most useless wizard. Lucky for him, Broken Lizard’s Jay Chandrasekhar hasn’t been quiet about the fact that Potfest is back on the table and is actually in early stages of production. Apparently every notorious pot smoker in Hollywood wants in on the action, too, so we may be seeing more of Willie very soon.
