The relationship between Alex Rodriguez and the New York Yankees seems to have reached a boiling point. Today, A-Rod’s doctor told WFAN’s Mike Francesa that the slugger wasn’t hurt. Furthermore, Dr. Michael Gross said he examined the MRI and feels A-Rod is 100%.
Wow.
As if that wasn’t enough, Gross said he was given permission to speak by A-Rod himself.
Again, wow.
Appears the Yankees have some explaining to do. Punishment from MLB is one thing, punishment from your own team is a contract violation. Not sure if the union will come to A-Rod’s rescue but it’s certainly something to keep your eye on.
