Brussels was rocked by three deadly explosions on Tuesday, targeting the main international airport and the city’s subway. In the hours after the tragic terror attacks, #JeSuisBruxelles and #JeSuisBrussels were top trending hashtags on Twitter as a sign of solidarity with victims.

The hashtag, which translated means “I am Brussels,” immediately went viral around the world to support the victims of the Brussels terror attacks where at least 34 dead, and reportedly over 200 were injured. Artists created beautiful paintings to attempt to deal with all of the devastation, as well as snarky support for Brussels in photos.
