Chilling Audio Released Of Girl Trying To Escape Nightmare Tinder Date’s Apartment

The trial of the Tinder date turned deadly continues and there are ghastly details coming out. Gable Tostee, 30, is on trial for intimidating 26-year-old Warriena Wright from New Zealand into climbing over the balcony trying to escape after a three-hour argument. The circumstances surrounding the nightmare date are mysterious and appalling as Warriena fell 14 stories to her death at the Avalon apartment building in Brisbane, Australia on August 8, 2014.

Before her shocking death, she met Tostee on Tinder that day, and eventually went to Tostee’s apartment. They began drinking, listening to music and before getting intimate. Wright sent two text messages to her sister, where she called Tostee “an Australian Sam Winchester,” likening him to the lead character from the show Supernatural. The second message she sent her sister was a selfie of her and her date.

Tostee recorded the final interaction on an audio device, and documents the last eight minutes of Warriena Wright’s death.

“You’re lucky I haven’t chucked you off my balcony you goddamned psycho bitch,” Tostee is heard threatening Wright. ““I’m gonna walk you out of this apartment just the way you are, you’re not going to collect any belongings. If you try to pull anything, I’ll knock you out, I’ll knock you the fuck out, do you understand?”

In the recording, Wright is heard threatening to “destroy (Tostee’s) jaw.”

The disturbing audio has been made public by the prosecution, who claim the sound of Wright being strangled by Tostee can be heard. You can listen to the graphic audio here, but it is extremely distressing.

A neighbor testified that at 2:20 a.m. they heard Wright crying and pleading, “No, no, no, please let me go home,” seconds before witnessing her fall, which was what was heard on the horrifying audio.

The audio file also revealed that Warriena had screamed “no” 33 times before she died.

The court supplied this harrowing photo reconstruction of Wright’s last moments as she allegedly tried to escape to the balcony below.

The prosecution believes that Tostee did not throw Wright to her death, but intimidated and threatened her to such an extent she felt the only way to escape was to climb from the balcony and putting her own life at risk.

During the trial, another conversation from the recording was played of Tostee telling his father his version of the tragic event, which may have indicted him for strangling Wright.

“I was all right at first, we, you know, had sex in bed and after that she kept drinking. She kept beating me up… I forced her out onto the balcony and I think she might have jumped off. She was saying, ‘I know Muay Thai, I’ll beat you up for fun.’ I tried to hold her down and she ran out onto my balcony and the last thing I remember was she kept hitting me for some reason and I just like tackled her down on the ground inside the apartment.”

The trial continues, and if convicted of her murder, Tostee could face a life sentence.
