Bill Maher Awesomely Blasted The Pathetic Emory University Wimps Who Were Terrified By ‘Vote Trump’ Signs

Last week we told you about the pathetic “U PC, BRO?” brouhaha unfolding at Emory University in Atlanta. TL;DR: A group of whiny college students were offended and terrified when someone wrote “Trump 2016” in sidewalk chalk on campus. Apparently they need a trigger warning for such a sign of political support and cried to the University administration needing a “safe space” on campus from Trump messages.

Not. Even. Kidding.

No matter what side of the political spectrum you fall on, this childish course of action from college students is deeply troubling. Like the past season of South Park x1000. The fact a group of coddled ADULT wimps couldn’t deal with an simple sign of political support is concerning for the future of the country — The bedrock of what makes America great is that we have to put aside our differences in ideology to get shit done. They are cowards for running to the administration to complain about their feelings. And never mind the fact that these kids attending a $50,000-a-year private school have peers of the same age who serve their country in uniform on foreign soil.

No one put the offended Emory wimps on blast more than Bill Maher on his HBO show last Friday night. Maher isn’t for everyone, but he went straight for the jugular: “I so badly want to dropkick these kids into a place where there is actual pain and suffering. What happened in this country?”

Interestingly enough, last week I listened to his interview with Cooper Hefner at Hop Media where he talks about America’s explosion of political correctness over the last few years. Maher’s right, even if it can’t be quantified: The reasons for Trump’s meteoric rise in the political spotlight *probably* is out of cultural protest and disdain for a sissified part of the popular that always seems offended by something.

Below is a full transcript:

BILL MAHER: Let’s talk about the liberal bubble… and I’m always criticizing what goes on on college campuses. There was a doozy this week at Emery University. Oh my gosh. You know what happened at Emory? Somebody wrote pro-Trump messages on the sidewalk in chalk. And, I swear to God, the kids went apeshit…

One student said, ‘I legitimately feared for my life. I thought we were having a KKK rally on campus.’

FMR. GOV. JENNIFER GRANHOLM, GUEST: What were the messages?

MAHER: Just Trump 2016 — in chalk!

GRANHOLM: Oh my.

MAHER: Here’s another one: ‘I’m supposed to feel comfortable and safe, but this man — Trump — is being supported by students on campus.’ As is their right in a democracy. ‘And our administration shows by their silence they support it as well. I don’t deserve to feel afraid at my school.’

[CROWD LAUGHS]

MAHER: I so badly want to dropkick these kids into a place where there is actual pain and suffering. What happened in this country?
