We’ve all had that driver behind us at one point or another. That person who is convinced the world’s revolving around them and it will stop revolving if they don’t get where they need to be in the allotted time. This driver might ride your ass, flash their lights, cruise in the shoulder lane as a signal that they need to get by, or all of the above.
In this instance, we’ve got a very impatient BMW driver who thinks that blindly passing a car on the outside while making a left-hand turn. Unbeknownst to the irritated driver there’s a barricade there that the BMW’s about to slide up like a skateboarder hitting the rails.
And I think what I love the most about this entire encounter is the IMMEDIATE sense of humility this dickbag driver displays. When your BMW is stuck on the side of a barricade you’ve just come to grips with the fact that your temper’s finally gotten you in trouble and it might be you that is the raging dickhead, not the other drivers on the road.
