Reddit’s Tinder subreddit is a goldmine of men trying to figure out the easiest, most foolproof way to get laid. While there’s no “magic line” that’s guaranteed to get chicks fighting each other to see who gets to bang you first, user mustythrowaway did find that a certain type of opening line does, in fact, at least guarantee you a response (“guarantee” = “80% chance of response” in this case):
Insults.
Surprising, but it makes sense. She’s less likely to ignore you if you’re being a dick because she wants to defend herself, whereas starting out with some lame line is easier to ignore. According to mustythrowaway he only considered the interaction a “success” if he managed to get a number, Facebook account, or the girl agreed to meet/fuck/date/whatever. “Second wind” means he used another line after being ignored once, and the same for third wind, fourth wind, etc.
What was the insult that had the highest response rate, you ask? Mustythrowaway claims it was “You look like a serial killer.” Hmm. I can get behind that one.
