I’m an unabashed fan of YETI coolers, so I love the direction their marketing team has taken by producing cool original short films about the so-called “Yeti lifestyle.” Two weeks ago the cooler company dropped an incredible short film about Chris, Keith, and Dan Malloy — A trio united by bloodline and the thirst for adventure. They’ve traveled all over the world in pursuit of the perfect wave.
Six years ago they left a big sponsorship with Hurley to head to Patagonia as an ambassador for the outfitter’s surfing program. I guess they have something similar with YETI now, as documented in the beautiful short film above:
Following in the footsteps of their father, the Malloy brothers have been blazing trails off the beaten path since before they knew how to stand up on a surfboard. Their love of adventure has brought them to remote beaches all over the globe, earned them spots at the top of the competitive surfing world, and fueled their endless exploration.
