Few cheeseburgers on the planet are more iconc than the McDonald’s Big Mac. For a limited time in Australia, however, the Golden Arches is mixing it up with a new option: A Big Mac with chicken. It’s basically two deep fried chicken patties with the regular Big Mac toppings — “special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun.”

The Chicken Big Mac has existed in other markets for a while, but McDonald’s just brought it to Australia for the first time this week.
No word on when it will hit in America. My guess would be later this summer, perhaps in August. But that’s just a guess based on the general reaction to the Chicken Big Mac, which could take some wind out of Chic-fil-A’s sails in the fast food chicken sandwich game.
