There’s a biological switch that gets flipped when you become a dad. You just suddenly are able to do things better than you ever were before. You’re suddenly excited to fire up the grill and prepare some perfectly cooked burgers and dogs for the wife and kids. A broken deck goes from “someone else’s problem” to “I can’t wait to roll my sleeves up and get whacking away at that bad boy”. You’re just a different breed of man. It’s almost as if shooting your load into a woman’s egg awakens a whole host of latent superpowers. Like this dad’s sudden ability to snag a professionally hit baseball into the second deck with one hand while his daughter is asleep in his other arm.
There’s a -100% chance that guy could have made that catch during his pre-kid days. Why? Because #DadLife. He’s now the best version of himself because he’s assisting in raising a miniature version of himself. So happy Father’s Day to all the bros out there with kids. You’re who we aspire to be.
