Texting and driving is will always lead to accidents. Sure in the short term you might never see a problem, and some people are in fact better than others at multi-tasking, but as a rule of thumb: put your cellphone down when driving.
The AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety gathered this footage from a ton of teenage drivers showing them on their phones and wreaking havoc on the roads. Sure for every driver they show causing an accident and crashing their car there’s tens of teenage drivers who drive perfectly normal and cause no harm on the road but that doesn’t make for very fun content, does it?
At the end of the day most cars are equipped with bluetooth so you don’t need to be holding your phone while driving, and you definitely don’t need to be texting. I guess what I’m trying to say is.
