On Sunday, at a 9/11 memorial ceremony Hillary Clinton had a “medical episode.” The situation forced the Democratic presidential candidate to abruptly leave the event. When she attempted to board her van she appeared to faint and would have fallen to pavement had not her Secret Service agents not held on to her. Hillary’s campaign acknowledged that the former Secretary of State had “overheated” on the 80-degree day with 40% humidity and an 11 mph breeze.

However, hours later the Clinton campaign revealed that Hillary was diagnosed with pneumonia.
Her personal physician, Dr. Lisa Bardack, commented on her condition, “Secretary Clinton has been experiencing a cough related to allergies. On Friday, during follow-up evaluation of her prolonged cough, she was diagnosed with pneumonia. She was put on antibiotics, and advised to rest and modify her schedule.”
Hillary’s doctor said she had been re-hydrated and was “recovering nicely.”
Hours later after recuperating at her daughter’s apartment, Hillary walked to her van and appeared very vivacious. This sparked a new conspiracy theory that Hillary has an impersonator, and now the hashtag #HillarysBodyDouble is trending on Twitter.
Oddly, Clinton was hugging and kissing several individuals at the memorial and a little girl outside Chelsea Clinton’s apartment, despite having pneumonia, which is contagious.
Pneumonia frequently starts as an upper respiratory tract infection that moves into the lower respiratory tract. It is pneumonitis (lung inflammation) combined with consolidation (liquid in spaces normally inflated with air). Viruses may reach the lung by a number of different routes. Respiratory syncytial virus is typically contracted when people touch contaminated objects and then they touch their eyes or nose. Other viral infections occur when contaminated airborne droplets are inhaled through the mouth or nose.

The 68-year-old presidential candidate’s condition caused her to cancel a campaign trip to California. Clinton was scheduled to leave Monday morning for a two-day trip that included fundraisers, a speech on the economy, and an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The unheard of maneuver would be unprecedented in a presidential election. Then there is the problem that the cutoff for candidates to be considered in a majority of the states has already passed. However, those state laws could be overridden by the federal government.
