Donald Trump’s Campaign Manager Charged With Battery In Florida For Grabbing, Yanking Reporter

Well, this is a first. The campaign manager of the presumptive Republican nominee for president has been charged with misdemeanor battery.

That definitely didn’t happen in 2008.

On March 8th, reporter Michelle Fields said she was forcibly yanked away from Donald Trump when trying to ask him a question by his campaign manger, Corey Lewandowski.

Lewandowski vehemently denied the claim on Twitter.

Fields filed a claim with the Jupiter Police Department three days later, and subsequent video, like the one above, showed Lewandowski to be lying.

Today, he turned himself into police, reports the Palm Beach Post, after being charged..

Fields resigned from her position with Briebart News after the incident, saying the news site, which is typically pro-Trump, refused to stand by her after she made the allegations.
