We’ve all heard of instances where cops went on a power trip and acted like assholes for no reason, but I wouldn’t think that such bitterness would exist in a dude who was about to take his final breaths.
Turns out that’s what happened in New York, though, as a 23-year-old man who was stabbed to death told the NYPD to “fuck off” rather than rat out the perpetrator.
According to the New York Post, here’s what the victim, Daniel Pena, said:
Daniel Pena was attacked in the courtyard of a building on Decatur Avenue near Bedford Park Boulevard and stabbed at least twice in the chest around 7 p.m. Wednesday, cops said.
As rescuers tried to treat the 23-year-old, officers tried to get him to identify his attacker as he gasped for breath.
“As he took his dying breath, his last words to police were, ‘F–k you,’” a law enforcement source said.
Pena then lost consciousness and died a short time later, the source said.
Refusing to snitch just got taken to a whole new level after hearing this story, leaving cops on the hunt for Pena’s killer.
