Absolutely insane numbers from the launch of the Tesla Model 3, which Elon Musk announced last night. The car already has over 180,000 orders in 24 hours, making for over $7 billion in revenue for Telsa in one day.
The crazy thing is that all those peoppe buying wont get their new Model until late 2017. Thats a massive order to fill for the company (and only going to increase), but if anyone can do it, Musk — Tony Stark irl in the flesh — can.
As Cass noted earlier, the new Telsa is only $35,000 and you only needed to put down $1,000 for the deposit. It’s a sexy looking car, too, in case you missed our post earlier.
