The first trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight, the fifth film in the Transformers franchise, has just dropped and it looks fantastic. This time the Autobots are going medieval. Literally. The upcoming sci-fi flick introduces a medieval-centric backstory and invloves King Arthur. Yes, really.
Of course Michael Bay is directing, but this will be his last effort. Mark Wahlberg returns and is joined by Laura Haddock, Stanley Tucci, Tyrese Gibson, Jerrod Carmichael, John Goodman, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Isabela Moner, Gil Birmingham, and Jean Dujardin. It also stars Westworld mastermind Anthony Hopkins, who narrates the trailer.
Transformers: The Last Knight opens in theaters on June 23, 2017.
