Genius In Court For A Minor Traffic Offense Drops A Bag Of Cocaine In Front Of Judge Aaaaand Now He’s In Jail

You know that feeling when you put your carry on bag on the airport conveyor belt and you plummet into a panic attack by convincing yourself that you left your weed pipe in there from 2005? I’ve never been completely sure that every drug I’ve ever smoked, snorted, injected, stuck up my anus, isn’t in a pouch in my duffle bag.

Well, that feeling would’ve washed over a 39-year-old Ohio man as he dropped a bag of cocaine before appearing in front of a judge for a minor traffic offense. But he didn’t realize it until security cameras picked it up hours later. Lemar Reed is now in prison.

“He was only here for a traffic ticket. He made a simple traffic ticket with only the penalty of a fine into a felony. So, not a good day for him,” said Judge Mihok.

Pro Tip: snort all your cocaine before you go into court and you’ll be so locked in you won’t even need a lawyer.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
