It’s only Wednesday but I feel like I’ve been talking about airlines ever waking moment this week, and it’s starting to feel like an eternity. Thankfully, this isn’t a story about United Airlines acting like complete shit heads and injuring a passenger. Or about the brilliant clap back Emirates had for United’s CEO after he talked shit about Emirates recently. This is a story about a girl trolling Southwest Airlines on Twitter, and Southwest handling it like champs.
Twitter user @xadoringpaige slid into Southwest’s DM’s to complain about the behavior of a flight attendant, but it was really just an elaborate troll job that ended up with both parties laughing. Here’s how it played out:
Southwest handled this like champs. They didn’t chastise this person for wasting their time with Britney Spears. They didn’t jump through the phone and ‘re-accommodate’ them by beating the shit out of them in front of fearful passengers. Everyone had a giggle and went about their business. Well played, Southwest.
