This Dude Flew Across The Globe AND Dropped Over $5,200 On Surgery To Have A Perfect Set Of Six Pack Abs

In the pursuit of six pack abs most bros look to the gym for endless hours of core exercise and seek out the advice from nutritionists on how to cut down belly fat. This bro was having none of that (well, he was having some of that). Instead of dropping hundreds of dollars a month on a private trainer he flew to Turkey and spent over $5,200 on surgery to have the fat sucked out of his belly and have his abdominal muscles reworked in the shape of a perfect six pack.

If this sounds like the antics of some 45-year-old dude going through a midlife crisis then think again, because it was a 31-year-old father that flew from Leeds (England) to Istanbul (Turkey) to have his stomach cut open and reworked.

Below are some screenshots of his BBC documentary that details his pursuit of the perfect set of six pack abs, as well as a 5min clip of the documentary:

The Mirror UK reports:

Lee Coupland went as far as Istanbul and spend more than £3,500 to get the perfect abs.
The 31-year-old from Leeds, who runs a joinery business, went under the knife to have abdominal etching giving him a six pack for life.
He said: “I think more and more people will think it’s an option for them and it will become as common as boob jobs and nose jobs for women.”

But far from being the solution for lazy overweight men, you have to be in good shape to have the procedure and men with more than two centimetres of fat are not normally eligible.
The procedure Lee had at the end of October was called abdominal etching and set the dad-of-two back £3,500.
He began by having the little fat he had melted down by ultrasound and strategically drained to emphasise his muscles.
Lee said: “In that procedure the surgeon got me to tense up and actually feel where my grooves are so they could draw on my natural lines.
“The second part of the procedure is laser lipo which is where they create a thick scar line in the groove I can actually feel a hard line where the shape of the abdominals are.”

I’m all about that fitness life and maintaining a Spring Break body 365 days a year, but why not just work your ass off in the gym? Wouldn’t you rather know that you were extremely healthy AND fit instead of just walking around with a shredded stomach? I’m guessing this dude has plenty of $$$$$ to burn and the $5,200 (£3,500) didn’t make a dent in his bank account, because you don’t get a surgery like that when money’s tight. So why not just hire one of the best personal trainers around?

I dunno, I’m just not sure how to feel about this. I’m curious what you bros think though, hit me up down below in the comments with any feedback on this dude’s surgery. (h/t Unilad via Mirror)
