Hackers Announce They’ve Stolen Thousands Of Passwords And Credit Card Info To These Sites

Ugh. Stupid hackers. Haven’t they terrorized enough of the Internet over the last few months? Couldn’t they just settle for their stupid disruptive shenanigans on Xbox Live and Playstation on Christmas Day? Now, according to The Daily Dot, a hacker collective called “Anonymous” has released a document with 13,000 username-and-password combinations, along with credit card numbers and expiration dates. The data includes users of Amazon, Xbox Live, Playstation Network, Hulu, Walmart, and — yes — adult sites like Brazzers.

You can read all the gritty details about it over at The Daily Dot, but in the meantime, monitor those credit card statements for suspicious charges, especially if you’re a user of one of these sites:

  • PlayStation Network
  • Xbox Live
  • Twitch.tv
  • Origin.com
  • Hulu Plus
