Here’s The Mayor Of New York Cracking A Racist Joke While Endorsing Hillary Clinton

Bill de Blasio, the current mayor of New York and a man many presume to have national aspirations, took an astoundingly long time to endorse Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.

Ostensibly, it was about kickstarting a conversation about Democratic politics being too centrist, and with the rise of Bernie Sanders, he was able to hide behind that, but more than likely he was using whatever leverage he has as mayor of America’s largest city to secure a position in her cabinet before speaking up.

Well, he managed to torpedo that shit right fast. He and Hillary took the stage at the Inner Circle Dinner in New York City and, in a sketch with an actor from the hit Broadway play Hamilton, said the reason it took him so long to endorse Clinton was because he was operating on CPT.

You know, colored people time.

In an election that’s seen unprecedented levels of racism and xenophobia, I guess it appears the Clinton campaign was feeling left out.
