Thought to be a threat to the East Coast earlier in the week, most forecasts now have Hurricane Joaquin harmlessly turning out into the Atlantic Ocean.
Except for one model. One model has it fucking South Carolina good. And long. And hard.
That not a hurricane. That’s a dick, Bro.
All laughing aside, South Carolina is still gonna get fucked, due to a combination of existing weather and moisture from Joaquin.
South Carolina is particularly at risk — the National Weather Service has been steady in their forecast of widespread rainfall totals over 10 inches for nearly the entire state. As much as 15 inches of rain could fall through , especially in the southern coastal areas of the state. A whopping 12.41 inches of rain are in the forecast for Columbia, the state capital, through Sunday evening. Should that forecast pan out, it would topple local rainfall records.
