We all know that Kanye West truly believes that he is a world famous fashion designer, but did you know that he also has a burning desire to design furniture? This week, Ye did an interview on BBC Radio 1, where he publicly announced his desire to work for IKEA. Yes, IKEA the Scandinavian furniture company.
“Yo Ikea, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing because you know what, I want a bed that he makes, I want a chair that he makes,” West said as he was pretending to be a college student who would buy Kanye furniture. Then he returned to himself and stated, “I have to work with Ikea, make furniture for interior design, for architecture.”
It turns out that Kanye has coveted working for IKEA for months.

Then the IKEA Australia Facebook page took the initiative to respond to Kanye, but also did a bit of trolling along the way by saying, “Hej Kanye, we’d love to see what you’d create…we could make you Famous!”
The internet saw IKEA’s slight jab at Kanye and before you could assemble a Henriksdal stool, they took the joke to another level.
However, there is no Swedish meatballs or crepes covered in lingonberry compote at IKEANYE, only this delightful snack.
