ISIS is desperate. Their beloved caliphate is splintering and being dismantled before their very wicked eyes. The Islamic State declared a state of emergency in their capital of Raqqa this month for fear of losing the city of rubble.
Coalition aircraft took a brief break from dropping bombs to dropping leaflets over the northern suburbs of Raqqa warning civilians to leave. “This is the time you have been waiting for. It is time to leave Raqqa,” the leaflets say.
ISIS has allowed residents of Raqqa to flee the self-proclaimed capital because they are terrified that a U.S.-backed alliance of Kurdish and Arab forces are coming to take over the Syrian city.
On Thursday, it was reported that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) including the Kurdish YPG and U.S.-led coalition airstrikes liberated at least five villages and several farms in northern suburbs of Raqqa.
“Our forces advanced in Raqqa, regaining territory with a depth of more than 6km from the northern border of the province,” the SDF leadership said in a statement.
Daesh militants deserted their command posts outside of Fallujah after the city was surrounded on all sides by Iraqi forces as an offensive to recapture the metropolis is imminent.
ISIS is desperate. So they claw back, not with bravery, resilience, intelligence, or military might. ISIS is desperate so they must fight back with vile propaganda.
Daesh manipulated the death of U.S. Navy SEAL Charles Keating and used it in a propaganda video. Earlier this month, Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Charlie Keating IV was shot dead by ISIL jihadists in Iraq while advising and assisting the Kurdish Peshmerga.
The abominable terrorist organization featured the 31-year-old Navy SEAL’s premature demise in a recent propaganda video. They show pictures of the car the Navy SEAL was traveling in when it was hit during a gunfight near Mosul in northern Iraq. Gruesome and odious footage shows a piece of shrapnel on the ground next to a large hole in a white 4×4 that Keating was driving when he died.
I won’t share the video because that’s what ISIS wants. What I will do is show a video of U.S. Navy SEAL Charles Keating, who was a promising swimmer at the University of Cincinnati, being honored by the city of Cincinnati.
Hopefully this makes ISIS even more desperate.
