I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that Jameis Winston doesn’t make the best decisions. The Heisman Trophy-winning, National Championship-winning Florida State quarterback got a citation for allegedly shoplifting crab legs from Publix. Some people said he was arrested initially, but since publishing SB Nation changed its story to being cited.
UPDATE: Now Tallahassee.com is saying that nothing happened, despite the allegations. Good job, news media! This is officially the stupidest story about nothing so far of the year…
Crab legs from a Publix? How does one even go about stealing those? That’s about the least inconspicuous thing one could possibly steal. Since he was cited, not arrested, so I almost wonder if Winston forget to pay for them and just walked out the door with zero malicious intentions. Who knows…
As of now, at least we get some fantastic Photoshops out of it….
