Well, well, well, how about this little gem of karma? Jared Fogle was slightly famous because of losing weight by eating hoagies and being the spokesperson for Subway, now he’s more famous for being a pedophile. Well it turns out that back in 2008, Jared appeared on VH1’s “I Love The New Millennium,” one of the network’s many, many nostalgia-porn shows that reminisced over crappy shit we used to like. On this particular episode that covered events, shows and toys from 2005, Jared talked about the investigative television program “To Catch A Predator,” which documented kid touchers getting caught. You can’t make this shit up.
Fogle gave his expert opinions about the Dateline NBC show on catching pedophiles. Jared confidently states, “These guys continue to fall for it every single time.” Unlike you, right Jared? “There must be, like, a hundred million episodes of this show, and these guys still come out.” Oh the irony.
On the plus side, how great of a job in casting was the producer for this show? They got a pedophile to talk about a show about pedophiles. An eagle eye for talent right there.
