Freestyle Jet Ski World Champion Ant Burgess Does Things On A Jet Ski I Never Thought Possible

I’ve been underestimating jet skis for 27 years. My main objective when jet skiing is just to go fast and straight and try not to launch myself off and become fish food. I didn’t think jetskis were capable of achieving anything greater.  I also has no idea there were Jet Ski World Cups, and that the dude in the above video is freestyle world champion Ant Burgess.

Ant, a plumber from the UK and trains at the gym four times a week, working to build his chest and arms to lift his 150kg jet ski out of the water, according to the Telegraph. Ant’s income as a plumber should be nicely supplemented by the nearly $195,000 prize given to the winner of the King’s Cup.

Meanwhile, I’ve yet to pay April rent.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
