A Letter Written By Jim Carrey’s Ex Before Her Suicide Has Been Released And Does Not Paint Carrey In A Good Light

The information that has come to light following the September 2015 suicide death of Jim Carrey’s ex-girlfriend Cathriona White has been ugly, to put it lightly. Just last week, news broke that a lawsuit has been slapped on Carrey claiming he had supplied his girlfriend with the lethal dose of drugs that led to her death and then tried to cover it up.

Cathriona’s estranged husband, Mark Burton, then claimed that Carrey gave her Herpes Type I, Herpes Type 2 and Gonorrhea. He says Jim tried to pressure her to keep quiet about it, which she did. This, he claims, was the genesis of her suicide.

A heartbreaking hand-written letter from Jim Carrey’s ex has been made public as part of new evidence presented in a wrongful death lawsuit filing in Los Angeles Superior Court. The letter was written jut weeks before her death.

The page-and-a-half letter begins by telling Carrey that if her lawyer had it his way, they’d be going to court. She then urges Carrey to come clean about giving her STDs.

Below is the meat and potatoes of the letter. You can check out the entire thing over at Mirror.

“I gave you this, intentional or not, I gave it to you. I understand that this is something that willa effect you for the rest of your life and future relationships. What can make this right?

Instead of that, I was disrespected, degraded, called a whore, an opportunist, threatened, our relationship belittled.

…and I don’t really think you can see. Like it’s not an issue to you. I’m just an ungrateful bitch who you’ve done so much for and I took advantage. That simply is not true.

Picking myself back up emotionally and mentally is one thing, people have bad experience and break-ups, it’s hard but with time they move on, meet someone new, start over. Add in disease. How does someone move on and meet someone new?

…I am damaged. I am disgusting. When I shower I feel sick. Getting turned on…what’s that? Certainly not something that happens (to) me any more. I will always be damaged goods and have a stigma attached. So I have to accept something I was always afraid of. Being alone. Being abandoned and alone.”

Cathriona ends the letter by wishing Carrey the best.

“Be good to yourself. I will always have love in my heart for you. I pray that you are content and have peace in your life and in your soul.

“Your dewdrop!”

Carrey has denied the claims that he gave Cathriona any STDs, claiming that he had gotten tested right before they were together and told her ‘aggravated follicles or bumps are normal when you shave or have rough sex’ in a text message after she confronted him.

This has turned into a full-blown shit sandwich.
