Watch John Cena Set A Personal Record By Squatting A Bar-Bending 611 Pounds

John Cena is an exceptionally strong human being. On top of being able to bench press close to an NFL combine max-out record (NFL max this year was 473 pounds, Cena pumped 463 pounds), the WWE superstar recently squatted a new personal record of 611 pounds at the Hard Knocks South Gym in Tampa, Florida.

Fellow powerlifter Mark Bell posted the video on YouTube with the description:

“I’m posting this video because I have the upmost respect for my long time friend John Cena’s dedication to the iron. John is never “too” busy to not be strong or not be in shape. With the amount of travel and big business that he does along with taking bumps in the ring it’s amazing he strong he is. Here is John nailing a 611lbs squat!”

Meanwhile, I’ve skipped leg day for 28 years.
