I tried VR for the first time a couple weeks ago at an HTC event. It blew me away. The demo ended with a game where you blast space invaders with two different handlers, so it literally felt like I was inside a scene in Star Wars. It’s a wild experience.
That’s why I kind of feel for this kid. He’s borderline on the verge of tears from this VR simulator. Like, I’m not sure if I’d ever be able to own one of these devices and use it without proper super vision — I feel like I’d walk through a window or destroy my apartment or something. It’s LSD + mushrooms combined, minus the drugs themselves.
