You have to feel for the dad in this video. All he was trying to do was be an attentive and caring father. He’s out there tossing his little guy batting practice out in the front yard, taking time out of his busy day.
And then something like this happens. His son takes a mighty Hack Wilson-like swing and scalds a blistering hot line drive at dad’s face.
Painful, yes. But there has to be a certain sense of pride knowing your seed is the next Mike Trout.
Box that good feeling up and put it on ice, dad. Use it to reduce the swelling.
