On a larger scale, two incidents occurred today at Boston's Logan and New York's LaGuardia airports. In Boston, a full ground stop was ordered for a Philadelphia-bound US Airways plane. All passengers were evacuated, and the plane, thankfully, has now been given the all clear.
A similar incident shut down LaGuardia's central terminal this morning. Until passengers were allowed back in and the suspicious package was cleared, below is the image that greeted anyone driving up to the Queens airport. It looks like a scene out of some sort of apocalyptic movie.
