AEW’s Tony Khan is not holding anything back regarding his beef with the WWE.

Five years ago, Khan, the son of Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan, started his own pro wrestling promotion, All Elite Wrestling.

Since then, Khan has competed rigorously against the WWE for ratings and market share.

During a recent interview during the NFL draft, Tony fired some brutal shots at his competitors.

“AEW, we’ve been doing this for five years. We are the most successful sports start-up since the AFL, pre-merger. There has not been a challenger brand that has gained as much market share as AEW in many, many years.

“We are like the Pepsi of pro wrestling. We’re up against a really evil juggernaut. WWE is our competitor, that’s who we’re facing. AEW, like the Pepsi of pro wrestling. WWE is like the Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling.”

Khan is clearly referencing the sex trafficking allegations against Vince McMahon when he said the “WWE is like the Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling.”

WWE fans weren’t happy with Khan’s comments directed at the WWE.
