A Dude Tweeted That He Was Going To Viciously Murder His Roommate (Then Did Just That)

Here’s a good argument for following your roommate on Twitter: you may be clued into their plans to kill you.

Zachary Penton, 21, shot and killed his 41-year-old roommate Daniel Garofalo after an “altercation” in their Gilbert, Arizona home yesterday. Penton then called the police and confessed to the crime.

Normally, this story wouldn’t be of note, except someone found this tweet, sent a day earlier.

Well alright then. Penton is currently in jail on the murder charge.
