This Just Became The Most Expensive Police Car In The World ($3.4 Million, 780HP)

The Abu Dhabi Police reportedly just acquired a 780-horsepower Lykan Hypersport, one of the fastest and most expensive sports cars ever produced. Assuming these reports are true, this has just become the most expensive police car on the planet. If this car looks familiar it’s because we first touched on the Lykan Hypersport here on BroBible after it made a big appearance in Furious Seven. If what I’m reading is to be believed, the acquisition of the Lykan Hypersport by the Abu Dhabi Police might be part of some competition between the Abu Dhabi PD and Dubai Police Force to see who can acquire the more exquisite car collection. Truly, this might be some pissing contest between Abu Dhabi and Dubai to see which police force can get the faster, more expensive cars. With the acquisition of the Lykan Hypersport which carries a price tag of $3.4 million I’d have to say that at the moment, Abu Dhabi PD is definitely winning. Ready to have your mind blown? Reportedly only SEVEN of the Lykan Hypersport were ever built, and now the Abu Dhabi PD own one of them.

Yesterday, Instagram user ahmd_m_ uploaded these photos of the Abu Dhabe PD’s latest acquisition:

And here’s what it looks like when it’s not painted as a police car:

Since I don’t live in Abu Dhabi (nor do I speak Arabic) I can’t exactly pick up the phone and call the police to confirm that this is in fact a REAL police car. But there’s no reason to believe otherwise, so for the time being I’ll just assume that the Abu Dhabi PD are now owners of a 780-horsepower super car that’s famed for being the third most expensive sports car ever put into production. As for specs, this car is straight up NASTY. The Lykan HyperSport has a reported top speed of 239 MPH, and goes 0-60 MPH in only 2.8 seconds.
