There are times to look good in your mugshot, and times to hide your face and hope it’s over with quickly. For example, if you get collared for having a gram of weed in your backpack, go ahead and cheese for the camera. It’s not a big deal. If you’re arrested for something like a DUI or murder, however – maybe keep that smile in your pocket and don’t whip it out until after the camera flashes.
You see, cheesin’ mad hard in a mugshot can become legendary, but only if it’s a “lighthearted” crime. Ashley England, Mary Jordan and Sammie Whaley all smiled for their mugshots, but the only reason it’s getting any attention is because they were arrested for reportedly starting a fight at McDonald’s and being trashy as hell:
Three women were arrested for assaulting a woman who worked at McDonald’s because she was too slow in fulfilling their order.
Police said the troublesome trio were identified on video after they fled the scene with their children, who also reportedly participated in the assault.
Ashley England, Mary Jordan, and Sammie Whaley of Sandusky were arrested after they were filmed in an attack at the Bellevue, Ohio, McDonald’s on Wednesday.(via)
England and Jordan were charged with assault as well as child endangerment because they not only had their children with them at the time, but also had them reportedly “participating in the incident.”
Tell me, do THESE look like the kind of people who pick fights at McDonald’s? Because I think they look worse:
Tl;dr: if you get arrested for something epic, smile for the camera. If you get arrested for being a trashy fuck, maybe keep those teeth hidden behind your lips.
