Justice For Brendan Dassey: Petition Started For ‘Making a Murderer’ Fans To Help Send Brendan Dassey To Wrestlemania

On Friday, it was revealed that Brendan Dassey would be released from jail. Dassey was one of the unfortunate stars of the Netflix docu-series Making a Murderer. He was found guilty of first-degree intentional homicide, second-degree sexual assault, and mutilation of a corpse of Teresa Hallbach in 2005 along with his uncle Steven Avery. Brendan will be released within 90 days and will finally get to see that Wrestlemania he missed because he was too busy confessing to murder.

Fans of Brendan Dassey also want the 27-year-old to not only see all of the Wrestlemanias that he missed while in prison, but also to go to this year’s Wrestlemania. A Change.org petition was setup by Matthew Kick in honor of Dassey.

Dassey, now 27, was originally convicted of helping his uncle, Steven Avery, in the murder of Teresa Halbach but a federal judge has ruled that his constitutional rights were violated when he was grilled, without a parent or his lawyer present, at the age of 16. We ask that the WWE and Vince McMahon help make his dream come true and send Brendan Dassey to Wrestlemania.

The petition currently has more than 100 signatures.

If you recall, footage from Making a Murderer while in jail and being accused of raping and killing a woman, the simpleton tells his mother, “I’m going to miss Wrestlemania on April 10th.”

Good luck Brendan, I hope you get to see every single Wrestlemania.
