I’m a sucker for a story that has a happy ending. And this one has three! The hospital workers got their pizza, the dude who got stabbed was right at a hospital when it happened, so he’s alright, and the carjacker got the black Jeep Cherokee he craved. What more could you want!
I guess less stabbing and more pizza and no crime and more pizza.
Josh Lewis, a 25-year-old from Louisville, Kentucky, was delivering some hot Spinelli’s Pizzeria pizzas to the workers at Norton Hospital who had ordered them. When he pulled up to make the drop off at the hospital, an unknown assailant stabbed him in the back and stole his car. Lewis walked into the hospital, dropped off the pizzas, and admitted himself*
*Not technically. He collapsed after handing off the pizzas and was rushed to another nearby hospital that was better equipped to handle the collapsed lung he suffered.
But he is recovering from his injuries now. Police are on the lookout for a 40-year-old black male, whom they believe committed the crime.
His story most likely won’t have a happy ending, but for now we can dream.
