Poachers Broke Into Zoo, Shot And Killed Vince The Rhino, Then Used A Chainsaw To Remove Its Horn

Heinous poachers broke into the Thoiry Zoo in Paris on Monday night and carried out a despicable crime. They shot Vince the 4-year-old rhino three times in the head which killed him, then used a chainsaw to remove its horn. The white rhino’s second horn was also partially hacked off, but it the killers must have ran out of time or their chainsaw malfunctioned. Zookeepers discovered the carcass in the rhinoceros enclosure the next day.

Vince was born on September 2012 at Burgers’ Zoo in the Netherlands and arrived in Paris in March 2015 with 5-year-old white rhinoceros Bruno. The park also has a 37-year-old rhino named Gracie, she and Bruno were both unharmed.

A rhino horn can be sold on the black market for $42,000 on the black market, especially in China where they are believed to have aphrodisiac qualities, which it doesn’t. You know, science already has fixed that issue with Viagra.

The demand for rhino horns has led to a huge spike in poaching. In South Africa, the number of rhinos poached jumped from 13 in 2007 to 1,215 in 2014, according to the World Wildlife Fund.

Unfortunately, Rhino horn thefts from zoos are nothing new to Europe.

How about we stop killing animals for the sole purpose of getting your dong plump, and you just take a goddamn boner pill like every other soft-dicked guy.
