While I do understand that elderly people don’t quite have a firm grasp on how computers/the Internet works, I still find it hard to believe in this day and age that people fall for scams like these. I mean come on, the guy says that he only has $400 left for the month and then the woman scamming him on the phone says it’ll only cost $399 to clean his computer? That’s definitely not questionable or anything. If you’re dumb enough to fall for something like this then I hate to say it, but you had it coming, regardless of how old you are.
