Yea, that’s some good warfare tuneage.

Especially because shit’s looking a lot like the 1980s around these parts. Not only are Russia and the U.S. at odds again over Russia’s incursion into the Ukraine, they are using fighter jets to intimidate, taunt, troll, and provoke each other.

In the Black Sea, an American surveillance plane and a Russian … fuck it, let’s just say MiG came so close you could hawk a loogie across the gap between them. From CNN:

Russian fighter jet, flying at high speed, came within 10 feet of a U.S. Air Force reconnaissance aircraft in international airspace over the Black Sea late last month, several U.S. officials told CNN Thursday.

The Russian jet flew alongside the U.S. plane at the same altitude, broke off, and then shadowed the plane before leaving the area in the May 30 incident, the officials said. The U.S. aircraft took no evasive measures, and no other details were immediately available.

No word on whether either plane was “inverted.”
