Because it has everything. The slow-motion beauty of a dog running. Chariots of Fire playing. The launch point, so far from the couch. THE DOG HAS A TOY IN ITS MOUTH. The majestic soaring. The belief, for a moment, that he just might make it. Then, the crash. And then another crash.
It’s life, really. It’s us, not afraid to leap without looking and to live. To just live, consequences be damned.
