Instead of a comical cold open, Saturday Night Live paid tribute to the victims of the Paris attacks. Cecily Strong made a touching tribute to the French capital that was devastated by terrorists. “Paris is the city of light, and here in New York City, we know that light will never go out,” Strong said.
Strong delivered the message of support in English as well as French.
