Two weeks ago, Steve-O did a backflip off a prison sign after being released from jail and it was swell. But the Jackass star upped the ante enormously by doing a treacherous fire-breathing backflip!
The Wild Boys stuntman teamed up with YouTube stars, The Slow Mo guys for this spectacular and extremely dangerous feat. Steve-O did another backflip, but this time while he was in mid-air, he spit out flammable liquid and exploded a balloon filled with water, and it was all captured in glorious super slow-motion.
After only nine attempts at the scary stunt where he thankfully didn’t blow himself to smithereens, Steve-O was able to nail the insane trick.
Back in August, Steve-O was arrested after a publicity stunt to raise awareness about the cruel practices at SeaWorld. He lived-streamed himself scaling a 100-foot crane in downtown Los Angeles with an inflatable whale that said, “Seaworld Sucks.” He also set off fireworks.
Steve-O pleaded no contest to charges of creating a false emergency, use of unregistered fireworks, possession of fireworks without permit and trespassing. He was sentenced to 30 days behind bars, but only served eight hours.
I imagine that it goes without saying to not try this at home.
