I feel like I’ve opened 50% of my articles today with ‘Bros! It’s 4/20…’ and I’m starting to think that I’m overdoing it with the cannabis content. Whatever, 4/20 only comes around once a year and you’re grown ass men who can choose to not click on these marijuana-related articles if you’re not interested in them, right?
Moving on…The folks over at MERRY JANE, Snoop Dogg’s YouTube channel about weed, stopped random stoners on the street in Los Angeles to ask them what the true origin of 4/20 is. If you’ve been reading BroBible for more than 48 hours then you probably recall the article I posted earlier in the week, also from MERRY JANE, which explains the TRUE origins of 4/20 and why it’s the unofficial stoner holiday.
It’s not a stoner’s responsibility to know what 4/20 means, or where the phenomenon started. But I do think it’s fascinating to see how rare it is for someone to actually know about The Waldo’s and how 4/20 spread throughout society.
