Ugh, scary stuff here. Back in late December, a man who appears to be psychologically distressed ran onto the tracks of the 175th Street subway station. Three bystanders did all that they could to get him off the tracks, but he continued to scream and flail around, even as a train approached the station. He was struck, but amazingly survived. Citing the MTA, Complex notes that the man refused medical aid afterwarsds, but was still brought to the hospital by force for being an “emotionally disturbed person.”
It’s absolutely terrifying to watch, especially the moment when the train enters the station.
