I’m not taking sides here, but I get it. I get why you tase this old fart into the ground if you’re the cop. Dude had a lunatic look in his eye and should have known that if you’re going to step to a cop, you best be prepared for the worst.
Tase first, ask questions later…so long as the person you tase doesn’t have a heart condition and dies. Because that would have made for one hell of a whoopsie daisy here. Nice little wrongful death lawsuit, too.
But seriously, as much shit as cops are getting these days for excessive force, what would you do in that situation? Would you just let a crazy asshole possibly attack you, or would you put him down? Me, I’d probably keep the taser holstered, pull out my gun and knee cap the old fuck, but I’m silly like that.
