Teen Wins Huge Chunk Of Money At The First World Drone Prix in Dubai

Going to college and getting a pointless degree is looking more ridiculous by the day. Instead of wasting time in college, get really good at something ridiculous and make bank.

Today’s example — drone racing for money.

One of the biggest drone races to date was held in Dubai over the weekend. The World Drone Prix, an event with a prize pool of $1 million, saw 150 teams from across the globe compete with 15-year-old Luke Bannister and his Tornado X-Blades Banni-UK team beating out the Dubai Dronetek crew. Over 2,000 spectators watched Luke take the victory and pocket $250K in cash.

Here’s the final race from the World Drone Prix.
