Texting your ex is almost without fail a bad idea. Usually you just end up worse off than you were before you texted, so there’s really no point to it whatsoever. Yet time and time again we, as stupid humans, still have that unyielding urge to do it for some reason.
Is it the optimist in us? Desperation? Stupidity? Whatever the logic behind it, it almost never ends well.
So should you find yourself in this situation, sitting there with phone in hand, about to drop a text to your ex, for whatever reason, STOP and read some of these texts from the Instagram account “TextFromYourEx” and just…don’t…do it.
On the other hand, if people weren’t so foolish we wouldn’t have these texts to make us feel better about our own lives so maybe, yeah, go ahead and keep doing it, you saps.
